Are you a high school senior setting your sights on college? Maybe you’re already a college student and could use extra money towards tuition or book costs. The Focus-MD Scholarship Committee wants to help you by giving away $1,000 to the winner of a personal essay contest.
Current high school seniors and college students who have been diagnosed with ADHD can submit the personal essay titled, How Treating My ADHD Helped Me Focus On My Future. This 500 word essay should tell us your story. Also needed is a letter of recommendation from students teacher, counselor or other adult familiar with applicants academic performance. Requirements to be considered for contest (Must be in by April 1, 2015):
- Letter of Recommendation
- High School Senior or College Student
- Diagnosed with ADHD
The Focus-MD Scholarship Committee will determine the winner in early May and will notify all applicants. $1,000 scholarship will be sent directly to the recipient’s school of choice. For more information or to request a scholarship application packet, please email Amanda Calkins, [email protected].
