What advice would you give your High School self? Forgive yourself for not being perfect. Don’t worry what other people think about you.
Have you always planned to go into medicine? If not, what did you want to do? Since the fourth grade. She thought she wanted to be an anesthesiologist.
Best advice you have ever received: Don’t worry what other people think.
What is your philosophy on patient care? Listen to them and understand that no two people are alike. I don’t believe in “cookie cutter” medicine
What do you think is the future of ADD/ADHD and treatments? I think the future is in adults. So many are out there undiagnosed and struggling with every aspect of their life.
Living and working in Greensboro, NC, what do you love most about your cities? That it is not too big yet not too small and the nice weather.

Personal Life

  • Dr. Stevenson is married with 3 children: Adia, Olivia and Elly
  • Her hobbies include scrapbooking, quilting and reading
  • Her guilty pleasure is a little reality TV

Education

Attended UHS-COM in Kansas City, MO, for medical school, LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT for Internal Med residency, and Appalachian State University for undergrad.
