Diagnosis and Treatment for ADHD in Adults, Adolescents and Children Age 5 and up
Dr. Joanna Chandler Ghegan, a board certified pediatrician, graduated with honors from the University of Georgia and attended medical school at the Medical College of Georgia. She completed her internship and residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Pediatrics.
Dr. Ghegan has a wide range of experience working with children and young adults of all ages who are affected by ADHD. Currently, she also practices medicine at the Student Health Center at the College of Charleston helping children and adolescents with ADHD make the transition from frustration to focus is a extremely rewarding part of her practice. She enjoys working as the patient’s advocate to help each reach his or her full potential.
Dr. Ghegan is married and lives with her husband Mark, an Ear, Nose and Throat physician, and her two children. In her free time, she enjoys running, tennis and spending time with her family and friends.
